Traffic Announcement

Possible Congestion Areas, August 2, 2009

On August 2, Tour de Peninsula riders will be riding on:

  • Third Ave in San Mateo,
  • Crystal Springs Rd,
  • Caņada Road,
  • King Mt Road,
  • Skyline,
  • Old La Honda Road west of Skyline,
  • Woodside Road,
  • Polhemus Rd,
  • Millbrae Ave,
  • as well as Airport and Bayshore Blvd along the bay.

100-foot lane closures will be on Millbrae Ave in the vicinity of Hwy 101 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.. Entrance and exits to 101 at Millbrae Ave intersection will remain open.

It is a ride not a race, so riders will follow traffic laws, but detours and short delays can be expected on:

  • Third Ave in San Mateo between 8 & 9:30 AM
  • Crystal Springs Rd in Hillsboro Between 8:30 and 10 AM
  • Kings Mt Road in Woodside between 9 and 12 noon

    • Cyclists and hikers take note: Sawyer Camp Trail will be closed to everybody but TdP riders on Sunday August 2 until 1 pm.
